Reigning Grace Ranch is a nonprofit equine rescue and rehabilitation center in the Rio Verde / Scottsdale area, dedicated to helping youth, families, veterans, and first responders find healing through horsemanship and equine therapy. Their mission is to provide life-changing experiences that encourage a full, happy life, all while caring for rescued horses who become part of the ranch’s story of transformation.

Initial Website Challenges

Before working with us, Reigning Grace Ranch faced several roadblocks that hindered user engagement:

We made sure to keep the ranch’s rustic charm at the forefront of the design:

  • Font Pairing: We combined western-themed headers with the Montserrat body font, creating a look that’s both bold and easy to read.

  • Barnwood Background: We used a textured barnwood design to create a handcrafted feel, aligning with the ranch’s mission of natural healing and western roots.

  • Homepage Features: We emphasized key sections—Kids Programs, Adult Programs, and Donate—to engage users right from the start. Scrolling further introduces the horses and critters waiting for sponsorships, tugging on a few heartstrings.

  • Gallery Pages: The photo and video galleries showcase the ranch’s work, with a focus on fast loading times to keep users engaged.

Key Functional Enhancements

  • Volunteer Pages & Login: Stage Two will add volunteer pages and a login section for training videos, streamlining the onboarding process for new volunteers.

  • Donation Options: We revamped the donation page to easier clarify users to choose between ranch donation or horse sponsorship.

  • Integrated Reviews: We added Google reviews across the site to build trust and credibility with potential supporters.
