Who is BOA Builders?

BOA Builders stands as a General Contractor firm based in Grand Junction, Colorado since 1982. This small, family owned and operated company specializes in custom and semi-custom home builds as well as commercial projects. BOA Builders provides quality in everything they do. Establishing Goals for their General Contractor Website

BOA Builders wanted their website to represent their quick move-in homes, as well as their semi-custom homes in select subdivisions. All of their home builds are built with energy efficiency in mind, and communicating why people should choose BOA Builders as their custom home builder was crucial.

They wanted this redesign to be easy to update with their newest homes for sale, so our team was able to streamline a design that grabbed a quick overview of the homes as well as an available form that is easy to find to learn more information.

We also designed a page displaying BOA’s established subdivisions so potential homeowners can easily learn about the HOA and what home plans are available for them.

Content Creation and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

BOA Builders’ old website did not have search engine optimization (SEO), so our content creators worked with the owner to create a lot more content on their service pages. Our team utilizes existing content as well, but we will also use the tools Google gives us to make sure the website will perform at optimal level.

We assigned an in-house two-person content creator team to write for the new website. We were on a tight deadline as their old hosting company was going to shut off their websites at the end of the month, and we were already 2 weeks into the month. So our entire team was reassigned to meet the deadline, and we proudly were able to launch the website on the last day of the month.

We also pulled all of their Google reviews using a PRO plug-in to make sure all of their website reviews automatically pull the new reviews as well as display the older ones.

Status Update

When BOA Builders partnered with BPetersonDesign in early 2024, they lacked the critical insights provided by Google Analytics on their previous website. Without this data, it was challenging to evaluate past performance or understand user behavior. However, with the launch of their new website in February 2024, we implemented Google Analytics, enabling us to start tracking meaningful metrics and establish a baseline for their digital performance.

The data from 2024 showcases the power of a well-designed website combined with data-driven insights:

  • Impressive Traffic Metrics: The new website attracted 9,500 new users in 2024, with total active users reaching 9,500 as well. This demonstrates strong reach and engagement within their target market.
  • Diverse Traffic Sources: Key traffic channels included referral traffic (3,000 sessions), organic search (2,700 sessions), and direct visits (2,300 sessions). These numbers reflect a balanced and effective strategy for audience acquisition.
  • High Engagement Rates: Average engagement time per active user was 1 minute and 9 seconds, showing that users are finding value in the website’s content and design.
  • Top Performing Pages: The “Meridian Park” and “Home Builder in Grand Junction” pages led the way with 5,400 and 4,700 views, respectively, followed closely by the “Shadow Mesa Subdivision” page with 4,100 views. These figures highlight the effectiveness of targeted content and SEO.
  • User Actions and Interactions: The website recorded 60 form submissions, 669 clicks, and 1,600 file downloads, underscoring its ability to drive user engagement and actionable leads.

While we don’t have pre-2024 analytics for comparison, the implementation of Google Analytics with the new website has laid a foundation for informed decision-making and continuous improvement. BOA Builders now has the tools to track their growth, refine their strategies, and expand their online presence effectively.
